Thank you honey! :D Lately I'd been feeling a little.. deflated because more and more peeps I know are getting *amazing* cameras, but here it's sort of a choice of "eating for the next two months" or "DSLR" and so I was happy to find this in my archives... especially since it's from my even less featured camera than the one I'm using.

This reminded me that not all is lost.

Not that I'd complain in the least if someone gave me a DSLR XD

:/ I understand. I feel the same way, but there's no way I can afford a new camera at this point (and also, lol I'm not good enough at taking photos now that getting one would help me a lot.)

It really is about talent, though. I mean, it's always easier to do stuff with more expensive stuff, but if you put in the work and have talent, you can do amazing things with mediocre equipment.

I think it's easy to get caught in the upgrading craze, and while I doubt any of us would complain if someone appeared on our doorstep with the camera of our dreams... if we use what we can afford and still make beautiful things, then all the better.

:) I'm going to get some of these printed off one day, to see what they're like in person. I have to remind myself that I take photos to capture the beauty of life, the earth and that I don't have a bad camera, for it's type. <3

Yep.

I need to do the same with some of my photos. And, a camera that takes shots like that is pretty good.
