Literature Text

When summer rolls into autumn,
And I watch the leaves fall.
I sit and think to be with you,
Would be my only world.

Then autumn turns to winter,
And comes the cold grey June.
My heart it aches for you,
Will you not come soon?

Then the spring is on the horizon,
And grey turns to blue.
Still I have no word from you,
Does another lady pleasure you?

The warmth of spring turns to summer once more,
Those lengthened summer days.
At long last you come to me,
My aching hearts renewed.
An older poem of mine, I think it was sparked by a king authur book.

Simple and beautiful, an unstretched-out telling of doubt in love. Beautiful. *faves*
